Heidi Caillard born in 1932 in Basel in Switzerland, studied fine arts and ceramics during the mid 20th century. The Guinea Fowl was born from Heidi's imagination since her presence at the School. The poultry, the real one, was already present in her garden. The idea of ​​making it into an attractive stylized sculpture came naturally to her at first. But the creation required long days of sketching, construction, deconstruction... in order to obtain the... perfect shape. Today multiple generations work together to serve you and sustain the activity. Heidi, despite her age, continues to offer new models from time to time.
